Frequently Asked Questions
1. How often do I need to change the filters?
We recommend changing filters every 2 months in households with more than one person to maintain optimal shower filter performance. However, if there is only one person, the change can be done less frequently, approximately every 3 months.
Additionally, we suggest cleaning the metal part to remove limescale every time you change the filters. See question #6 for how to do this.
2. How long does shipping take?
We process and ship orders from Monday to Friday. We do not ship on weekends. Shipping time (not including preparation time) is 24-48 hours in the Peninsula and 48-72 hours in the Balearic Islands. .
3. Is the handle compatible with any hose?
Our handle has easy installation and universal compatibility thanks to its standard 1/2" thread, ideal for pipe sizes in Spain. Installing it is as easy as screwing the head on in just a few seconds, without the need for special knowledge or tools.
4. How do I change the KDF pellets?
Inside the head you will find a white container. To change the beads, simply open this container, remove the used beads and insert the new ones. If you are unable to close the container when inserting the beads, remove the remaining ones or save them for another use.
Below you will see how to open the package.
If you find it difficult to do this with your hand, you can use an object to help you.
5. I have tried to use the filter, but water comes out of the head and handle joint, what do I do?
Water may leak if the rubber between the handle and the head is not properly adjusted, because the water comes under high pressure. This is not a defect and can be solved by properly adjusting this rubber. The rubber must be pushed upwards to ensure that it does not leak water.
6. The water still contains lime after using the filter. Is this normal?
Shower filters can reduce impurities in water to a certain level, but they do not remove 100% of limescale. It is normal to notice some limescale in the water after installing the filter. We recommend cleaning the metal part every time you change the filters by soaking it in a small bowl with boiled water and a few drops of vinegar for a few minutes. Then, remove any limescale residue with the soft side of a sponge. Avoid cleaning plastic parts this way.
7. The filters have not become dirty after 3 months of use. Do they need to be changed?
Congratulations! This means that your building's pipes are in good condition and free of rust. However, the water still contains harmful substances such as lime and chlorine, which are not visible to the naked eye. That's why we recommend changing your filters regularly, even if they appear to be clean.
8. How do you change filters?
